NOTICE The solar and wind data from NREL available on DR POWER is considered a poor choice. NREL now publishes 5 minute solar data from 2018 to present, with much more validation applied to it, so https://nsrdb.nrel.gov/data-sets/us-data may be a better choice.

RTS-GMLC

The Reliability Test System (RTS) provides a standardized database for testing and comparing results from different power system reliability evaluation methodologies. This data set allows researchers to examine the challenges and opportunities of new generation sources and analyze various operational issues, such as unit commitment, dispatch, load flow, and economic and reliability impacts. The database’s most recent update added natural gas combined cycle, wind, solar photovoltaics, concentrating solar power, and demand response.
